My story…
I started uploading videos to TikTok the very first day of 2020. My goal was to upload at least one video everyday for the whole year just to see how far I could get. My first video that ever did well was filmed right after I got off work. I decided to film right there in the parking lot on a snowy, winter night. My idea was to make a quick video about a few things people might not know about Walmart and what goes on behind the scenes to make a store run, but little did I know that would be the official start to my TikTok career.
After many Walmart videos, my manager eventually told me to quit making them or I would risk getting fired. Not good. After that, my content changed a little bit to more vlog-style videos. I eventually got bored of those and decided I should make a video of me putting a flashlight down an old, abandoned well that was near my house. That video did AMAZING for the amount of followers I had at that time. Dropping random things down the well was now my content that never seemed to fail.
Now, I still make both types of videos while trying to keep things entertaining, but it gets difficult at times. Eventhough it’s tough to keep views up, I still make my daily videos of whatever comes to mind. Sometimes I’ll make one a day, or even five. Either way, I try my best to keep my followers engaged and entertained.
